Sonia is a plant based chef with a particular interest in healthy eating for the health of people and the planet.
She has always been passionate about food from a young age, growing up in the restaurant her parents managed in Southern Spain. Sonia originally trained as a Lawyer, and has strong business acumen. However she subsequently decided to pursue a career as a Vegan chef, and founded and managed one of Southern Spain’s first Vegan only Cafes, more than 15 years ago.
After moving to London Sonia continued her journey into Sustainable, healthy, plant-based cooking, studying at the College of Naturopathic Medicine. She has been further developing her knowledge and interest
in sustainable food production, and has been trained with Matthew Kenney culinary, Plant Academy in
London and many more. She has also studied Plant Based Nutrition at
Sonia has extensive experience Training others in plant-based and free-from cooking techniques, and is a confident, inventive and passionate chef
